The following pictures from the 307th Bomb Group (H) archive files were recently scanned. Over the last 60 years thousands of 307th BG pictures and documents were collected and stored in file cabinets and boxes. Last summer I received a semi load of boxes from the former Historian, James Kendall. I have them stored at a local climate controlled storage locker and have begun the daunting task of sorting, digitalizing and data basing all the materials. I anticipated that the project might take me years, however, a local Twin Cities, Minnesota business has offered to help scan the materials. The following pictures were scanned complimentary as a donation of services to the 307th BG by Risdall Advertising Agency (RAA). RAA's help has enabled me to focus on the new database and not as much on the grueling task of individually scanning thousands and thousands of pictures and document. The following pictures will be added to our new database with keywords and known attributes (plane number, plane name, crew names, location, etc.). Until I have the pictures added to the new database, please feel free to browse the following pages of thumbnail images. You can click on each thumbnail image to view the full sized image.
